Apr. 28, 2022
Alexandre Girod and Julien Vergne, creative team behind the Outlaw Runners, Lacoste Give for Good, Orangina's upside-down can, and Canal+ AiMEN campaigns, join Marcel Worldwide.
Alexandre and Julien will evolve under the supervision of Youri Guerassimov and Gaëtan du Peloux, Executive Creative Directors of Marcel.
Alexandre Girod, copywriter, and Julien Vergne, art director, met in 2009 and first practiced their talents at Publicis Conseil before joining BETC. The team has forged its brand expertise by working on budgets such as Canal+, Lacoste, Orangina, Bouygues Telecom, Babybel, STIHL and Red Star FC. Their work has been multi-awarded at the Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, LIA, Eurobest, Epica Awards, CLIO.
This recruitment is a continuation of a rich year 2021 at Marcel with numerous new clients and creative recognitions in France and abroad (Grand Prix at Cannes, Grand Prix at Eurobest among others).
Alexandre Girod & Julien Vergne said:
“Joining Youri and Gaëtan was obvious, we totally identify with their way of approaching creation; create conversational objects regardless of setting or shape. And beyond the Marcel agency, the Publicis network is in a very good dynamic, particularly in terms of creative ambition."
Gaëtan du Peloux & Youri Guerassimov said:
"We had been following Alexandre and Julien's work for years. They represent everything we love about creatives: bold, well-structured minds that strive for excellence in every subject they touch. And since their professional qualities are coupled with great human qualities, we are very honored that they chose Marcel and his bastion of 80 creative people to exercise their talents!"
