Atomic London Appoints Cat Davis as Group CMO, Following Significant Business Momentum

Sep. 05, 2025

Independent creative company Atomic London has announced the appointment of Cat Davis to the newly created role of Group CMO, joining the agency’s senior leadership team to help drive the next chapter of its ambitious expansion.

Davis will report to Group CEO Jon Goulding and joins in September, at a pivotal moment for Atomic, following a record-breaking period of new business success and a step change in creative output across the agency’s integrated Orbit model.

Davis brings over 20 years of experience leading growth and marketing efforts across some of the UK’s leading creative agencies. In her most recent role as Group Marketing Director at The MISSION Group, she led group-wide growth initiatives across 19 agencies, helping to deliver major wins that included Porsche, Post Office and Macmillan.

Earlier in her career, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Grey London, where she was promoted three times to become the agency Group’s first CMO. During her tenure, the agency won 68 new accounts, delivering 275% revenue growth. She then went on to hold the role of Chief Growth Officer for UK & Europe at Cheil, where they landed Etihad Airways, Bayer and Abbott, before moving to gyro UK and leading the Kaspersky global media win for Dentsu.

An active industry voice, Davis sits on the Executive Committee of WACL and has been recognised as a Campaign A-Lister, a Creativepool Top 100 Influencer, and an IPA & Campaign Women of Tomorrow finalist. She also served on the IPA’s New Business & Marketing Group and was a board member and former Chair of the MAA’s New Business Group.

In her new role, Davis will oversee growth strategy, reputation and marketing across the full Atomic Orbit – encompassing advertising, social, talent management, entertainment and health – working in partnership with Group CEO Jon Goulding, Group MD Louise Rudaizky, Group CCO Ewan Paterson and Group Chairman Nick Fox, as well as leadership from Atomic’s specialist agencies Atomic Supernova, Talent & Brands, Atomic Studios and Atomic Matter.

Her appointment follows a sustained period of growth for the agency. 2024 marked Atomic’s most successful year to date, with standout campaigns for Sipsmith, Hamptons and Greater Anglia, as well as the launch of new offers including Atomic Studios - a new production entity focused on brand entertainment - and the award-winning healthcare agency Atomic Matter, which was named Agency of the Year 2025 at the PM Society Awards for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in the UK.

2025 has already seen the agency win a series of high-profile accounts including Ladbrokes, Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, and RAMONA’S, alongside six new global pharma accounts and the continued expansion of creator-led work through Atomic Supernova.

Cat Davis, incoming Group CMO at Atomic London, said:

"Atomic is an agency that doesn’t just talk about transformation, it lives it. The Orbit model is truly modern, bringing together specialists who think, create and collaborate as one. It’s a compelling proposition that’s clearly resonating with ambitious brands. I’m incredibly excited to be joining the team at such an exciting phase of its journey - and to help push that even further."

Jon Goulding, Group CEO at Atomic London, added:

"We’ve built the model. We’ve proven the creative. And we’ve won the work. Cat joins us now to scale all of that. She’s smart, strategic, brilliantly connected and she’s exactly the kind of energy we need to drive the next wave of growth for Atomic and our clients."

Atomic continues to differentiate itself as a modern creative company that unleashes the superpower within brands - driving meaningful growth across the customer journey, with creativity at the heart.
