Barrett Hofherr Promotes Bluey and Albrecht to Associate Partners

Full-service creative agency Barrett Hofherr has promoted Head of Design Ted Bluey and Associate Strategy Director Kevin Albrecht to associate partner, Chief Creative Officer Jamie Barrett announced today.
Ted Bluey joined Barrett Hofherr in 2022. In his short time at the agency, he has helped redesign the MIXT brand, led full rebrands for GrassRoots Farmer’s Co-op and the California Coastal Commission and most recently worked with DoorDash to rebrand a financial product. Prior to Barrett Hofherr, Ted co-ran DIG, the Design and Innovation Group at Eleven in San Francisco. Ted has worked with a wide range of clients including Barclay’s, Gallo, Getaround, Google, JSX, Pella, Proximo, Treasury Wine Estates, Visa, and for nearly a decade, Virgin America. Ted and his team established Virgin America’s visual language early on, and in the years following, created multiple award-winning campaigns and stunts. Ted’s work has been featured in Comm Arts, Condé Nast Traveler, Graphis, The New York Times and Wallpaper* and has received top honors from Creativity, D&AD, FWA and The One Show.
Since joining Barrett Hofherr seven years ago, Associate Strategy Director Kevin Albrecht has helped brands such as Walmart, Marvel, Chime and eBay hone their strategic language and create award-winning work. His passion for the business and dedication to strategic craft continues to inspire the creative team daily. Kevin has been instrumental in evolving Barrett Hofherr’s strategic offerings, and has contributed to several new business wins, most recently The Habit Burger Grill. He is also the author of “Unsolicited,” the weekly blog that showcases his keen eye for social and cultural trends, and is also just plain funny.
