Brandon Expands Leadership with Ant Sanders, Nick Escobar and Valerie Henshaw
Jun. 28, 2024
Brandon, a modern marketing agency built to propel mid-market brands forward, is proud to announce three new appointments across multiple disciplines. Ant Sanders is their new associate creative director; Nick Escobar, an account manager at the agency since 2022, has been promoted to lead development specialist; and Valerie Henshaw has come on board to lead account supervision across multiple client brands.
CEO Scott Brandon said:
"These are two special new hires and one important promotion based on the major growth trajectory we are undertaking, which absolutely aligns with each individual’s skill set and personal goals.".
Sanders, who previously served as the creative director at Mountain Khakis, brings a wealth of experience and creativity to his new role at Brandon. As an associate creative director, Sanders will play a key role in collaborating with the creative team and contributing to developing innovative designs and materials for marketing campaigns. His extensive creative-direction background and his proven leadership skills make him an ideal fit for this position.
In his new position, Escobar will play a strategic role in driving the agency’s and clients’ continued growth and success by fostering relationships with prospective clients, guiding them toward unlocking their creative potential and charting a course to achieving their business objectives alongside Brandon’s talented internal teams.
Before joining Brandon, Escobar’s 12-plus-year career saw him serving in a range of roles in the marketing industry, giving him valuable experience in digital marketing, brand creation and campaign strategy. In his past positions, he has served as a creative and marketing manager (among other positions) for Emmis Communications, brand ambassador for Spotify and marketing manager for College Pro. In his time at Brandon, he’s left an indelible mark on the growth trajectories of numerous clients, including Security Finance, WM Barr, Geneverse, Anakeesta and Idahoan Foods.
Valerie Henshaw brings years of deep client-side expertise and experience to her new role as account supervisor, which makes her an enduring addition to leadership of the agency.
The notably entrepreneurial Henshaw has made a name for herself as both a business transformation expert as well as a leader with a clear record of achieving superior business results. She spent the last several years in senior strategic leadership roles for both lawn and garden and home-building businesses, all after having forged her career and reputation in increasingly senior positions at Bayer, including head of Marketing.
The agency will draw on her in-depth know-how of client relationship management, team leadership and development, strategic planning and execution and even financial management and business development.
Brandon added:
"This is a significant moment for us, and we are excited to welcome and promote such a talented and experienced trio to our leadership team. Their track records of success and ability to lead and inspire creative teams align perfectly with our commitment to delivering exceptional results for our clients."
