Camp Lucky Signs GYPSY for Midwest Representation
Aug. 01, 2024
Camp Lucky is excited to partner with Laurel Dobose and GYPSY for exclusive Midwest representation.
In an age of ad content with ever-evolving platforms and new technologies, GYPSY strives to be a smart partner by connecting resources and providing solutions to production challenges.
GYPSY was founded by Dobose whose passion for the industry was forged at a young age when she would spend time at her father’s production company in Chicago.
EP Brandon Tapp said:
“There is a good reason why Laurel has built a reputation for authenticity and partnership – and she really understands her market and the industry at large, which makes her a trusted resource. She is exactly as advertised: smart, funny, and direct. We are really happy to be working together and can’t wait to see what happens next.”
Dobose said:
“It’s an honor to do what I do, and finding the right collaboration is at the center of it all.Camp Lucky is an incredible creative partner for brands and agencies for so many reasons; they are truly kind, talented, and take the time to really anticipate and understand client needs. They are equally happy working on location as they are on their own virtual production stage – because they are jazzed by the process in its many forms. That’s exciting for me.”
Dobose officially began her career on the agency side, where she worked in various roles at FCB, and ultimately enjoyed a successful tenure as Manager of Broadcast Production. This distinct vantage point, along with the firsthand view of production life, provided a nuanced understanding of the level of collaboration and trust needed to successfully create award-winning campaigns. Channeling this expertise into representation was an unexpected but natural turn for Dobose who worked with Hilly Reps before opening her own company in 2012.
