Factorial Pranks Parisians with a Cloning Machine by Creapills

What if your HR software were so efficient it felt like having a clone of yourself? That’s the bold idea behind the latest activation imagined by creative agency Creapills for Factorial, ahead of HR Technologies 2026. A striking experiential campaign that brings to life the promise of Factorial’s native AI: freeing up teams’ time by acting as a true digital double.

Following a first high-profile collaboration last year, marked by a large-scale outdoor campaign around the “Old World of HR”, Factorial and Creapills return with an even more immersive activation. This time, Europe’s most comprehensive HR software showcases its artificial intelligence, Factorial One, through a hidden-camera experience designed to intrigue and surprise passersby in the heart of Paris.

Set up near the Bassin de la Villette, a mysterious machine invites people to step inside and get cloned. Smoke, lighting effects, suspense… then the illusion unfolds. One person comes out as two, right before the stunned eyes of café-goers sitting on nearby terraces. A simple yet powerful staging, designed to trigger spontaneous reactions and leave a lasting impression.

A tangible metaphor to make AI visible

Behind the spectacle, the message is straightforward: Factorial’s AI is so powerful it feels like having a digital double handling your most time-consuming tasks. Recruitment, talent management, time tracking or expense management, Factorial One operates as a continuous layer of intelligence supporting HR teams and managers.

This digital clone takes care of a wide range of essential yet invisible operations: CV analysis, interview preparation, meeting summaries, detection of early engagement signals, or automated expense reports. All happening quietly in the background, as if a second version of yourself were constantly working alongside your team.

From viral film to HR Technologies 2026

Designed as a social-first activation, the hidden-camera video will be shared and amplified across Creapills’ and Factorial’s social platforms. But the experience doesn’t stop online. The cloning machine will also become the centerpiece of Factorial’s booth at HR Technologies, taking place on January 28–29, 2026, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

Additional creative executions built around the cloning concept will complete the campaign, including a DOOH activation displayed on the event’s digital totems. A cohesive creative territory that reinforces Factorial’s positioning as an HR brand capable of turning a complex technological promise into a memorable, tangible experience.
