Five Young Creatives Named Portfolio Night All-Stars Grand Prize Winners

Feb. 26, 2025

The One Club for Creativity today announced five talented young creatives who were selected as 2024 Portfolio Night All-Stars Grand Prize winners, each receiving a free trip to Creative Week 2025 in New York.

Established in 2003, Portfolio Night has long been recognized as the world’s largest advertising portfolio review program, taking place in dozens of cities around the world on the same date to help the next generation of creative talent entering the industry.

One participant from each of last year’s 26 cities was selected as a Portfolio Night All-Star, as determined by industry professionals who hosted the events.  The PN All-Stars then participated in a virtual creative bootcamp in January, where they worked on a brief from Perdue Farms and its agency Colle McVoy,, and attended online seminars and recruiting sessions.

Based on that brief, the following five PN All-Stars were selected as Grand Prize winners:

  • Karina Llanos, copywriter, social media (PN-Santa Cruz, hosted by Circulo Creativo Bolivia)
  • Sam Rauch, art director, graphic designer, filmmaker (PN-Austin, co-hosted by Hahn, Job Propulsion Lab, and Mathys & Potestio)
  • Marc Smith Jr, graphic designer, illustrator (PN-Cleveland, hosted by Brokaw)
  • Nehashree Tatavarthi, graphic designer, UX/UI (PN-San Francisco, co-hosted by Ace The Market, CAN CAN Studio, and Odysseus Arms)
  • Cora Veltman, art director (PN-Charleston, hosted by book180)

Judging the briefs was a panel consisting of Jody Hallman, VP, Integrated Marketing, Perdue Farms; and three from Colle McVoy: Ciro Sarmiento, CCO; Meghan Figueroa, GCD; and Katie Walley-Wiegart, head of brand comms and marketing.

While at Creative Week 2025, the PN All-Stars Grand Prize winners will attend The One Show 2025, ADC 104th Annual Awards, Young Ones Student Awards, Type Directors Club TDC71 competition events, and more.

Since starting 22 years ago, Portfolio Night has taken place in 70 different cities across 45 countries, with more than 13,000 portfolios reviewed.

This important event, presented by the global non-profit One Club for Creativity, serves as the gateway for young talent to enter the ad industry or find a new job.  It enables the best of the present — hundreds of renowned international creative directors at host agencies — to meet and mentor the leaders of the future in industry hubs around the world.

Portfolio Night has also become a crucial tool for agencies in recruiting top young talent, providing a platform for recognition from local industry peers, and giving agencies a place on the global stage as the ad world tunes in to this one-of-a-kind event.

Branding for Portfolio Night 2024 was created by Nana Rausch at Quick Honey, based in New York and Berlin.
