Go.Compare Sponsors Classic FM's Pet Classics and a Brand-new Weekly Pet Classics Series
Nov. 05, 2025
Go.Compare Pet Insurance is sponsoring Classic FM’s much-loved Pet Classics – which are among the biggest programmes of the year on the station – in a partnership secured by media agency Hearts & Science.
The sponsorship launches at the start of firework season, with the annual programmes created to calm the nation’s pets during one of the most stressful times of year for animals.
Planned and brokered by Hearts & Science, the sponsorship is part of Go.Compare’s brand strategy to build meaningful emotional connections with consumers through relevant, timely partnerships.
The campaign will run across Classic FM and Global Player, with supporting digital and social activity amplifying the sponsorship and encouraging listeners to share their #PetClassics moments.
Now in its eighth year, Pet Classics has become a national institution, offering an audio sanctuary for anxious animals through specially curated classical music and expert advice from the RSPCA. This year’s shows will be hosted by Classic FM presenters Dan Walker and Charlotte Hawkins.
Due to the programme’s popularity with listeners – both pets and their humans – Charlotte is hosting a brand-new weekly Pet Classics series, every Friday at 9pm, until 31st October. There will be also an additional Pet Classics show on Classic FM, on New Year’s Eve, to coincide with another big night for firework displays. New for 2025, all Pet Classics programmes will be sponsored by Go.Compare.
The sponsorship underlines Go.Compare Pet Insurance’s commitment to supporting pet owners with practical care and peace of mind.
Joshua Tumbridge, Head of Brand and Campaigns at Go.Compare, said:
“Pet Classics perfectly aligns with our mission to help people care for what matters most to them. As the new sponsor of the show, we’re looking forward to being part of something that genuinely makes a difference, bringing comfort to households across the UK at a time when it’s most needed.”
Joseph Zubier, Classic FM’s Managing Editor, said:
“Pet Classics is one of our most popular shows of the year on Classic FM, bringing the perfect mix of music, comfort and community to listeners and their pets. We are pleased to continue our partnership with the RSPCA and – for the first time – to welcome our brand-new sponsor, Go.Compare Pet Insurance, who both share our mission to make fireworks season a more relaxed experience for pets and animals across the UK.”
Tom Cornell, Chief Investment Officer at Hearts & Science, explained:
“This collaboration is a brilliant example of how contextually intelligent media can create real emotional value. Pet Classics has become a cultural moment for animal lovers, and pairing it with Go.Compare Pet Insurance brings genuine purpose and resonance to the brand. It’s a big win to have secured Go.Compare as the first-ever sponsor of a cherished programme.”
Classic FM’s Pet Classics will air on Wednesday 5th and Saturday 8th November from 5pm to 9pm, with further information available at ClassicFM.com and on Global Player.
