House 337 Creates Charity Festive Cards Featuring AI Generated Unique Designs

Leading creative agency House 337 is leveraging AI to create festive charity cards with unique designs. For each card sent, the agency donates £1 to Crisis to support people in finding a secure home. 

To create a card, users are asked to enter the name of the person they want to send a card to and prompt the agency’s AI with three words. The House 337 generator will then create a unique design, a supporting festive message and a link to share the card with the recipient, and on social channels. 

The generator utilises three types of AI tools to create the cards for moderation, image generation and large language models - specifically, DALL-E 3 and GPT-4. The card is created, optimised and delivered to the recipient, who is then invited to make their own, spreading the giving.  

Kim Lawrie, Head of Creative and Emerging Technology at House 337 says of the campaign:

"House 337 is a creative collective that believes AI can take human creativity to another level. But we understand the risks and are committed to helping our clients use it responsibly. Our festive cards are a symbol of our commitment - a small example of how we can use AI in a safe, positive, and fun, way."

 

On any given night, 1 in 100 households in England are experiencing the worst forms of homelessness. Overall core homelessness in 2024 will be a fifth higher than 2020 levels. Current drivers of these increases include inflation squeezing real incomes, increasing poverty, rising private rents and evictions. 157,640 families were homeless in 2022/2023,  12.1% higher than before Covid. The latest rough sleeping figures showed that rough sleeping is also on the rise.

Crisis works to help people out of homelessness and campaigns for the changes needed to solve it. House337’s AI card campaign hopes to offer donations that help to take a step in this direction.
