How ORANG UTAN and Jung von Matt NECKAR Ask to Make the Morning Alarm a Wake-up call for WWF

The name says it all: the Indie-House act ORANG UTAN that lately was signed at Ultra Records celebrates its first release with a donation campaign. 50% of the revenues of each stream go to WWF for real orangutans in Borneo.

To make the pro bono campaign take off from the start, Jung von Matt counts on  the clever use of android’s Google Clock function “Spotify Alarm” which makes it possible to stream a song as morning alarm sound. So everyone who chooses “Who’s your love?” to wake up, creates plays for Orang Utan – and donates to WWF every day.

Just like in the music video for “Who’s your love?”, in which the artists jump with ape masks and on bouncy balls through the whole world, the call-out to set the “Orang Utan Alarm” is also presented by an ape in short social media clips. Playing the song for 30 seconds already counts a stream and generates a donation. 2WEI Artists, the management behind the project, say: "What can be better than listening to nice music with a purpose?"

The campaign starts with the Wake-up Call, launched on Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. Everyone who listens to the track on Spotify, Deezer or Apple Music, shares it with friends or adds it to a playlist can help to raise donations. And as the artists say: “Be assured: the apes would give you a big #OrangUtanHug”.
