Jagermeister Launches FingerMittens to Keep its Ice-Cold Ritual Alive

Jagermeister Launches FingerMittens to Keep its Ice-Cold Ritual Alive

Jan. 23, 2026

As more people began drinking Jagermeister at room temperature, the brand set out to protect its iconic –18° serving ritual. The solution was The FingerMittens: tiny knitted mitts for fingertips that makes holding ice-cold shots comfortable. Turning care, humor and warmth into a reminder to serve Jägermeister ice-cold.

Jagermeister is known for one very particular serving ritual: –18 degrees.
A ritual that ensures the optimal taste experience and has been an iconic hallmark of the brand for decades. Yet it turns out that more and more people have started drinking Jägermeister at room temperature — a development that challenges the ice-cold serving ritual.

To bring the focus back to the correct way of serving, Jagermeister now launches a new and unconventional campaign with one clear message: Jägermeister should be served ice-cold.

At the heart of the campaign is The FingerMittens - tiny, knitted mitts designed specifically for fingertips. A stupid yet functional solution that makes it possible to hold ice-cold shots without freezing your fingers.

The campaign was launched with a short film, that introduces The FingerMittens with both warmth and tongue-in-cheek seriousness. A week after launch a knitting tutorial will also be released on social media, giving everyone the opportunity to make their own pair of Finger Mittens and take part in the cause.

The FingerMittens can be found at bars selected bars in Denmark - right where Jägermeister is served. They will also be available for purchase on the campaign website.

With The FingerMittens, Jagermeister takes its serving ritual extremely seriously - in a very unserious way. Because even when you drink ice-cold, you can still do it with respect and a bit of warmth.

Drink responsibly - fingers included.
