Jessica Zerby Joins Hayden5 As Account Manager
Sep. 08, 2021
Video agency Hayden5 has added Jessica Zerby as Account Manager. Zerby comes to Hayden5 with experience on both the brand and production sides of the business, having held roles at Target, and various production entities. She will work out of the company’s Los Angeles location, serving as a main point of contact for clients, nurturing new and existing relationships, and helping to expand on Hayden5’s creative network.
Most recently, Zerby worked as a Creative Producer at Target, where she oversaw a vast range of creative projects, such the new Ulta partnership, Black Beyond Measure campaign, the 2019 Major League Soccer All-Star Game; and baby and seasonal campaigns, among others.
Matt Rakow, Hayden5 Head of Accounts, says:
“We are thrilled to welcome Jessica, who brings experience with an iconic North American brand while working with a multitude of video agencies. She will play a huge role in shaping our future client relationships in Los Angeles and we've already seen her amazing passion for client advocacy and dedication to working with diverse creators.”
Zerby adds:
“It’s exciting to be part of a team that is revolutionizing and making production more accessible. To be able to work on a broader scale of production is a dream for me. Whether it’s original content and documentaries, ad campaigns, or social good initiatives, Hayden5 has been so smart in terms of how they’re growing into different markets, supporting underrepresented filmmaking talent through their scholarship programs, and developing a safe, consistent, and elevated workflow to keep jobs in the midst of a pandemic.”
Zerby graduated from college with a major in Photography with a focus on documentary photography and photojournalism. She credits her grandfather, Mike Zerby, a photojournalist at the Star Tribune in Minneapolis, for sparking her interest in travel and storytelling from a young age. As Studio Manager of Sidecar Studios, she later discovered the world of commercial photo and video production, where she helped organize accounts, scheduling, equipment rental, and led their social media and marketing.
Zerby concludes:
“I bring the value of working with a brand and understanding how an inner corporate structure looks and functions. I also know what a production company needs on the other side of the equation. I’ve produced projects with budgets from the thousands to the millions, so I know how to maximize budgets for value. At Hayden5, they have a well-oiled machine, so my job is to be that touchpoint for clients that keeps the whole process personalized and exciting, and to help our producers focus on what they do best.”
