Joybyte Promotes Myriah Castillo to President Following Record Growth

Joybyte, the No. 1 influencer-led social marketing agency and fastest growing TikTok Shop Certified Agency in the United States, has promoted Myriah Castillo to president. Previously head of Social Strategy, Castillo has driven the agency’s explosive growth, innovative platform strategies, and evolution from startup focused boutique to a partner for major household brands.

Under Castillo’s leadership, Joybyte achieved 180% growth over the past two years. Her approach to emerging platforms and culturally intelligent marketing has expanded the agency’s client roster to include Eggland’s Best, 5-Hour Energy, Idahoan Foods, and Jackson’s Chips, while keeping the creative edge that makes Joybyte stand out.

Castillo’s promotion reflects breakthrough work that has put the agency on new paths to success. When uncertainty surrounded TikTok’s future, she leaned into the agency’s vision for the platform’s creative potential, building Joybyte’s TikTok Shop program from the ground up.
The agency achieved TikTok Shop certification and now manages more than 30 brands within the program. In September, Joybyte onboarded more sellers than any other certified agency. She led campaigns such as Bakeful’s TikTok Shop launch—generating more than 30 million impressions and $40,000+ in sales in one month for a brand-new product—and Victory Monkeys’ “The Perfect Pour,” which racked up 6 million views by embracing creative absurdity. Beyond the numbers, Castillo has influenced how independent agencies think about risk, proving that “unhinged marketing” works when it’s rooted in genuine audience connection.
