Industry veteran Kareem Cervantes has joined independent, integrated marketing agency The Many as Marketing & Communications director. In his role, he will oversee the agency’s marketing efforts and help to amplify the company’s philosophy around participatory marketing, a discipline dedicated to creating work that resonates with audiences, starts conversations and demands engagement.
Managing Director Maggie Cadigan said:
“It is truly an exciting time for The Many with the agency experiencing a significant amount of positive change and with new, diverse opportunities on the horizon. Having someone like Kareem with his experience and expertise in industry visibility and marketing will help tell our unique story at such a pivotal point in the agency's journey.”
Prior to joining The Many, Cervantes served as the head of Marketing & Communications at NVE Experience Agency, where he garnered the shop global recognition for its award-worthy work with some of the most iconic brands and IPs in the world.
Before fully immersing himself in the land of brand experience, Cervantes led innovative For Your Consideration awards campaigns at R&CPMK for short films, documentaries and nonfiction content, earning first-ever wins and recognition for YouTube Originals, first-ever Daytime and Primetime Emmy wins; Verizon Media, first-ever Cannes Lion Grand Prix & GLAAD Media Award Nomination; MasterClass, first-ever Critics Choice Award win.
Cervantes has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles chapter of the Hispanic Public Relations Association and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for LA Pride/Christopher Street West. He helped produce the iconic LA Pride in the Park Festival, the LA Pride Parade and Block Party, and works on year-round programming that services the LGBTQIA+ community. CLIO recently asked Cervantes to judge the CLIO Entertainment awards.
