Lobo Signs Pedro Becker as Live-Action Director
Sep. 09, 2026
LOBO is excited to announce that director Pedro Becker has joined the creative studio’s roster of live-action directors. The move marks Pedro’s official entry into the US market and powerfully reflects LOBO’s recent growth in live-action filmmaking.
Born and raised in Brazil, Pedro began working in the industry at a young age and eventually worked his way up through advertising. A well-rounded filmmaker, he was initially drawn to editing before becoming a director himself. His ability to envision the final composition and execute it at every step has made him an imaginative storyteller who captures naturalism on camera, often transitioning into surrealism with refined cinematic polish. This approach leaves room for other influences to enter his creative process, namely music, theater, and photography. Full of movement and rhythm, Pedro’s ability to lens vibrant stories on screen has made him a popular director among many agencies and brands alike.
Pedro’s drive to learn every aspect of filmmaking has expanded his skill set to include post-production areas like music supervision, composition, and 3D animation, along with editing his own films. He directed projects for some of the world’s most iconic brands, such as Pepsi, Apple, Smirnoff, Volkswagen, Ford, GM, Nestlé, Visa, Coca-Cola, Absolut, Nike, and Vivo. For his brand work, Pedro has earned several impressive awards, including Cannes Lions, LIA, El Ojo, FIAP, and a Ciclope Latino Award for Best Director for the Vivo brand film “We Drowned It,” which he shot entirely underwater.
Pedro Becker on signing remarked:
“LOBO has been awarded and recognized worldwide for the quality of their work, and I’ve admired that for a long time. There was a mutual attraction—the feeling that it made sense for us to be together and that we could build something really good together. I feel I’m going to learn a lot from being with them, and somehow the whole thing feels very natural.”
LOBO Managing Director Luis Ribeiro added:
“As I’ve gotten to know Pedro and his work over the years, I can’t help but be very excited about this opportunity to bring him on to LOBO, officially. We’ve been mutual fans for a long time, and the timing of this feels perfect and in line with where he’s heading as a director and where we’re going as a company.”
