M+C Saatchi Consulting Appoints Matt Welch as Head of Client Services for North America
Jul. 02, 2026
M+C Saatchi Consulting today announced the appointment of Matt Welch as Head of Client Services for North America, a newly created role designed to deepen client relationships by anticipating evolving business needs, identifying new opportunities for growth, and unlocking the full breadth of consulting capabilities.
Welch will establish M+C Saatchi Consulting’s dedicated client services function across North America, allowing the firm’s specialists to focus on solving complex business challenges while creating greater capacity for proactive client partnership and long-term growth. By bringing together capabilities spanning data, brand and business strategy, innovation, design and activation, he will help clients adapt to a rapidly changing landscape shaped by AI and evolving consumer expectations.
Spencer Schrage, Managing Director of M+C Saatchi Consulting North America said:
“Client service has evolved from managing singular engagements to becoming long-term advisers, helping organizations see around corners. Matt brings the strategic perspective to anticipate where our clients are headed and the ability to connect them with the right expertise across our integrated consulting business. That’s exactly the kind of proactive partnership clients seek as their remits evolve and they navigate unprecedented change.”
Welch brings more than a decade of experience leading strategic client partnerships across brand, experience and business transformation. He joins M+C Saatchi Consulting from Wolff Olins, where he spent eight years building and leading multidisciplinary teams, ultimately serving as Engagement Director and overseeing the firm’s largest client relationships in the Americas. Prior to that, he held client leadership roles at VIRTUE Worldwide and Avenue B2B Marketing Strategy and Activation, helping global organizations develop integrated brand, digital and experience programs across a range of industries.
Welch said:
"What attracted me to M+C Saatchi Consulting was the opportunity to build a client service model that’s genuinely proactive. The strength of this business is the breadth of expertise we’ve built across strategy, innovation, experience and activation. My role is to help clients see the bigger picture and make the most of the expertise our team has to offer."
This appointment continues the expansion of M+C Saatchi Consulting’s North American leadership team — following the additions of Managing Director Spencer Schrage and Senior Director of Innovation Jennifer Lee Fuqua earlier this year — as the firm continues to invest in its capabilities and leadership.
