MakeMake Promotes Kate Berry to Managing Director of Narrative Design

MakeMake is proud to announce that Kate Berry is now the Managing Director of the newly structured Narrative Design Dept. Since joining the studio in 2017, Berry hasplayed an integral role in helping MakeMake's creative teams bring stunning and conceptually rich projects to life. As Managing Director, Kate will continue to add depth of craft to the studio of Reenchantment, indicative of MakeMake's commitment to creating richly imagined, meticulously crafted stories.
MakeMake’s Narrative Design World Building department consists of animation, design, short-form, production, VFX, emerging technology, and color – serving as the connective tissue across disciplines, platforms, and technologies to construct cohesive narrative worlds for all of MakeMake’s projects.
Kate Berry is the EP behind the Emmy-winning title sequences for Shogun, The Last of Us, to name a few. Her decades of experience in motiondesign and VFX are a testament to Berry’s keen eye for detail and her ability to manage complex productions, establishing her as a well respected figure in the industry known for testing the boundaries of creativity and bringing visually captivating, high-concept films to life.
