MOMMENPOP Aperitifs Brings Vibrancy and Touts Transparent with New Bottle Design
Jul. 29, 2024
Since 2017, MOMMENPOP has redefined the American aperitif with a fresh, Californian twist, breathing fresh air into the otherwise traditional category. The new label design aims to convey to consumers MOMMENPOP’s commitment to quality with the use of organic citrus picked at peak ripeness and sourced directly from local farmers. It’s this process that sets the brand apart from others in the category that typically rely on dehydrated citrus to flavor their products.
Now, with the new packaging of their core flavors Blood Orange, Ruby Grapefruit, and Seville Orange MOMMENPOP breathes new air into the otherwise traditional market overflowing with heritage brands and showcases the all-natural ingredients used. Spearheaded by Michael McDermott, the creative Director and husband to Sheehan, putting the POP in MOMMENPOP, takes a vibrant, story-driven approach that resonates with modern consumers, offering a transparent look at how the product is made and used..
Notable updates include:
- Bold Label Design: MOMMENPOP’s name now stands out on the front label, integrated with a peeled citrus image.
- Consumer Clarity: Each bottle is marked ‘citrus aperitif’, making it easier for consumers to identify and choose MOMMENPOP over aperitifs with mysterious ingredients.
- Premium Touches: Foil, embossing, and texture reflect the richness of the fresh, all-natural and real ingredients.
- Recipe Included: The back label features a spritz recipe for how easy it is to enjoy MOMMENPOP, equal parts with sparkling wine.
- Screw Top: The new top makes it easy to use when behind the bar and maintains peak freshness once opened.

Bottles with the new label are currently rolling out online for national shipping via MOMMENPOP’s website and in both on and off-premise locations across its home state of California, as well as in New York, Florida and additional markets in the coming months.
