Movement Strategy Adds AI Evangelist Jenny Nicholson as SVP, Creative and Strategic Innovation

Mar. 11, 2025

Movement Strategy is excited to announce the addition of celebrated AI evangelist Jenny Nicholson as SVP, Creative and Strategic Innovation. An award-winning AI educator and creative technologist, she not only brings boundless expertise but a passion for bringing big ideas to life, redefining how brands can adopt a social media mindset to drive culture.

Nicholson is one of the most acclaimed leaders in digital media, who spent more than a decade at McKinney helping brands expand their creative horizons with emerging tech. Over her career, she has won recognition from Cannes, the Clios and the Webbys, as well as earning a Campaign Magazine Female Frontier Award. She has also been listed among 4A’s “100 People Who Make Advertising Great” and Business Insider's "25 Most Creative People in Advertising". Now at Movement, Nicholson will expand how the agency applies AI in its daily processes – supercharging creativity across the organization. She will also help Movement develop a set of proprietary AI tools to enable their team to understand real time trends and quickly create interesting brand content, partnerships and activations.

In Movement Strategy, Nicholson finds a kindred spirit in pushing industry boundaries.

She explained:

“Movement has consistently been ahead of their time –  from being one of the first social media agencies to earning acclaim from Ad Age and Business Insider for their AI work when most agencies hadn’t even touched it. They get that using AI isn't about doing the same old sh*t, but faster. It's about doing things that never would have been possible before.  We're showing our clients how to do this whole AI thing differently. And with everyone spinning up AI-powered pipelines to pump out content at scale, doing something different is more important than ever. The agencies and brands who can shift from efficiency to expansion – those are the ones who will succeed.”

Movement CEO Jason Mitchell said:

“Movement has always been at the forefront of social, and now we’re at the forefront of AI—bringing these two together in a way that enhances creativity, not just efficiency. Most agencies will use AI to churn out more content, faster. That’s not our play. We’re focused on using AI to make social more human, more interesting, and more valuable for brands and audiences alike. Jenny is the perfect leader for this next chapter—not just because she’s an AI expert, but because she’s an incredible creative. She’s approaching AI from a storytelling and big ideas perspective, not just a technological one. That’s what makes this so exciting.”
