Ogilvy Refreshes its Creative Team

Ogilvy Refreshes its Creative Team

May. 07, 2025

Ogilvy in Madrid enters a new chapter in its commitment to creativity. From now on, Juan P. Moreno and Javier Senovilla will lead the creative department at the Madrid office as Executive Creative Directors, consolidating a model that reinforces internal talent and looks ambitiously toward the future.

The entire creative team will report directly to Juan P. Moreno and Javi Senovilla, as well as to Roberto Fara. This new chapter is full of pride because it represents a commitment to talent, great ideas, and a way of creating rooted in #borderlesscreativity — a creativity without borders that drives building, growing, and enjoying the journey.

Juan P. Moreno and Javi Senovilla began their careers together at Ogilvy in 2007 and now lead the agency's creative direction after leaving their mark on brands like Heineken, Turismo de Andalucía, ONCE, and KFC. Their work has been awarded at Cannes Lions, The One Show, Clio Awards, El Sol, and Premios Eficacia, and has contributed to the Spanish National Creativity Awards in 2021 and 2024. They have also been recognized on Forbes’ list of the 100 most creative Spaniards in 2021, 2023, and 2024, and ranked in the Top 3 creatives in Spain according to The One Show Ranking 2023.

Juan P. Moreno and Javi Senovilla, Executive Creative Directors at Ogilvy said:

“We’re starting this new chapter from a privileged position for several reasons. First, the agency’s culture makes creativity a core part of the business model — something that is believed in (and driven) from the top. Second, we are surrounded by an incredibly talented group of colleagues. It's a powerhouse of a team. We believe our mission is — in large part — not to mess it up; to ensure everyone finds a space and opportunities to grow and do their best work."

  • New Talent to Keep Growing

This revamp is also strengthened by new hires in creative leadership. Javier Martínez and Pablo Fernández join the team of Creative Directors, working alongside Patricia Medeiros, Miguel Provencio, Ramiro Alda, Jorge Calvo, Pablo Chachón, Guille Fernández, Pablo Poveda, and Víctor Vázquez.

Javier Martínez, with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Alicante, returns to Ogilvy after leading McDonald's creativity at TBWA Spain for five years, earning accolades at Cannes Lions, The One Show, Clio Awards, El Sol, and Premios Eficacia. Pablo Fernández, with 25 years of international experience across Argentina, Brazil, and Spain, also returns to Ogilvy after stints at Cheil and TBWA Spain, where he worked for brands like Ford, ONCE, Samsung, and Playtomic, earning recognition at top industry festivals.

Additionally, Clara Sánchez joins as Associate Creative Director. She trained at Miami Ad School Berlin and brings over 12 years of experience from agencies such as Leo Burnett, DDB, and Scholz & Friends.

  • Internal Promotions that Look to the Future

In this new phase, Ogilvy also recognizes and invests in homegrown talent. Paloma del Río, Alba López, and Antonio Pelufo step into new roles as Associate Creative Directors.

Alba and Antonio, a creative duo since their time at The Atomic Garden in 2015, have worked at agencies like Leo Burnett, Havas, and Ogilvy, proving that shared creativity multiplies. Paloma, with experience at McCann and El Laboratorio, continues to build her career at Ogilvy, taking the next step in her growth.

  • One Team, One Mission

Roberto Fara said:

"This profession requires, among many other things, staying up to date with what's happening. It demands curiosity, adaptability, innovation, exploration, and the acceptance that the path can change at any time. That’s why I’ve always believed that the collective is more important than the individual; the team above the names. Because if your direction and work philosophy are clear, you can adjust step by step — and even if someone leaves or someone new arrives, you can always maintain your identity and the quality of your work."
