Pink Sparrow Creates Show-stopping 3-D Designs Using Massivit 5000 Technology
Oct. 07, 2024
Pink Sparrow, the premier design and fabrication company, is one of the only shops on earth with a Massivit 5000 3-D printer.
With studios in Los Angeles and New York City, Pink Sparrow has created sensational 3-D models on the Massivit 5000 for clients including Netflix, Milk Makeup, Honda, Jordan Brand, AT&T, and HBO. You can see some of the remarkable finished work here. As the video shows, once a client provides the 3D model rendering, Pink Sparrow downloads and expertly sizes it for printing, and the scenic team sands, primes, paints and refines it. It’s then ready for installation–at 30x the speed of any other available system. And because of its pinpoint accuracy, it also cuts down on material waste.
This new video demonstrates the unprecedented speed and precision of the Massivit 5000 that lets Pink Sparrow transform a digital rendering into a ready-to-install 3-D model the very same day. For context, traditional technology takes days or even weeks.
Managing Director of Pink Sparrow Anthony Santiago said:
“This game-changing technology allows us to bring our clients' visions to life with unmatched precision and speed, unlocking a world of endless design possibilities. As one of the few companies offering this high-tech service, we’re excited to bring huge, elaborate ideas to life more sustainably and in half the time—all while still delivering on the nuanced detail our team is known for.”
Other building capabilities of Pink Sparrow’s award-winning design and fabrication team include experiential activations, festival activations, retail and pop-ups, vehicles and mobile tours, architectural and permanent fixtures, trade show exhibits, murals and art installations, and automation and creative tech.
