PRETTYBIRD Welcomes Shiara Miranda as New Business Representative

Aug. 23, 2021

PRETTYBIRD have welcomed to their UK team 24 year old Australian-Brit Shiara Miranda.

Miranda moved to the UK from Australia on the cusp of the pandemic in January 2020, taking up a position with The Future Factory consultancy, where she specialised in new business for creative agencies.  She worked with a diverse spread of agencies of all shapes and sizes, spanning motion design to digital innovation.

Shiara Miranda says:

I've always known I wanted to move into the production world, and the move to London came in pursuit of just that. After discovering the insanely high-calibre roster PRETTYBIRD boasts, (not to mention a hive of wonderful, talented characters at PRETTYBIRD UK) it was a no brainer. So excited to dive in!”

PRETTYBIRD UK Co-Founder and Executive Producer Juliette Larthe commented:

“I was impressed by Shiara Miranda’s qualifications, passion and drive which coupled with her impeccable her references was a package I couldn’t resist. I already see her energy and talent complementing our creatives and our team. I gauged from our first meeting, Shiara is qualified and already experienced in client facing relations. It feels logical to fold these skills into the competitive creative landscape we work in, so I’m genuinely excited to welcome Shiara as our PRETTYBIRD NEW New Business Representative. In this role, think she has good taste, vision, tenacity and is totally relevant to source work for our roster, already proving herself in the first week. And it’s good to hear Shiara is as keen as we are to help us nurture new talent.”

Miranda is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate of The University of Melbourne, where she majored in Marketing & Management and took a semester at the University of Southern California's Marshall Business School, as well as completing an internship at McCann Melbourne.

Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Miranda is of Sri Lankan heritage and moved to Melbourne, Australia as a baby, before moving to the UK at the age of 6 for school. She moved back to Melbourne with her family to finish secondary school and attend university.
