Quench Food and Beverage Trend Report Offers Glimpse at Forces Shaping the Industry
Mar. 04, 2024
Influencer-driven brands, gateway snacks and AI-powered drinks are just three of the nine trends in quench’s 2024 Food & Beverage Trend Report (Vol. 15). The report offers a glimpse at the cultural and marketplace forces that will shape food, beverage and CPG marketing in 2024 and for many years to come.
quench is a food and beverage marketing agency and part of Pavone Group, a full-service marketing group with offices in Philadelphia, New York, Atlanta and Harrisburg.
quench CEO Michael Pavone said:
“There’s a big difference between a trend and an actionable trend. Anyone can identify trends, but finding trends that can be woven into marketing strategies or product development plans and can generate sales for a brand? That takes a lot of time and effort.”
The 15th annual trend report is based on in-depth research, analysis and contributions from leaders in the manufacturing, innovation, academic and agricultural areas of the food and beverage industries.
The following are four of the trends identified by the quench team:
-
“FASTING FORWARD” - A closer look at the rise in fasting as a dieting option among consumers and social media’s role in the trend.
-
“FOLLOWING THE HYPE” - How brands are staying relevant by linking their products to pop culture and lifestyle-driven communities
-
“GATEWAY SNACKS” - Snacks and beverages are an easy entry point for consumers looking to expand their palates and explore new cultures and cuisines.
-
“FOOD TOURS” - Consumers are using social media to experience food from different countries, not with their mouths but with their eyes.
