Special London Strengthens UK Management Team with the Appointment of Richard Sweetman

Independent creative agency, Special London has appointed Richard Sweetman to the new role of General Manager & Client Services Director, responsible for managing the business day-to-day across the company’s operations in the UK.
Sweetman joins from the Australian branch of the agency, where he was Client Services Director for the past 12 months. Previously, he worked for Droga5 Sydney and New York, responsible for the Tiger Beer business as well as Qantas and T-Mobile. He has also worked for Saatchi & Saatchi London, developing award-winning brand platforms, including Direct Line’s ‘We’re On It’, Visa’s ‘Where You Shop Matters’ and BT’s ‘Hope United’.
Richard joins Special London as the team continues its expansion. He will report to Cade Heyde, Global Partner at Special, while the agency continues its search for a new CEO.

Special has offices in the UK, US, Australia, Japan and New Zealand. Last year the agency won Global Creative Agency of the Year in the prestigious Campaign Awards and was also crowned Asia Pacific Agency of the Year by Effie.
