We Are Social Promotes Shreyas Sukumar to Paid Media Director
Oct. 05, 2021
Global socially-led creative agency has promoted Shreyas Sukumar to paid media director in the UK.
In his time at We Are Social, Sukumar has worked with brands spanning multiple sectors, from sport to fashion, retail to FMCG. He has brought a culture-first, strategic approach to paid media to the agency, helping it expand its offering for UK and global brands.
In his new role Sukumar will lead the agency’s paid media team in the UK, looking to grow its client base both organically and through new relationships. He will further build on We Are Social’s paid media offering, creating culturally relevant content and distribution strategies that deliver both efficacy and efficiency for its clients. He will work with clients to navigate social and gaming platforms and communities, established social media channels and emerging platforms.
He will report into We Are Social's UK Group Head of Strategy, Harvey Cossell.
Sukumar joined We Are Social 16 months ago as senior paid media manager. Prior to this, he worked at Mindshare’s Toronto office as senior account manager in paid social.
Cossell commented:
“Brands need partners to help them navigate and understand the social platforms and communities where consumers today spend the majority of their time. Shrey’s understanding of the different cultural nuances platforms have to offer has already made a big impact on the paid media strategies we offer to clients. This is a hugely deserved promotion, and I look forward to seeing him taking his exceptional work to the next level in his new role.”
