Zombie Studio Presents an Unbeatable Battle Against a Dragon in Frontier Communications Campaign
Oct. 22, 2024
Internet connection instability is detrimental at any moment and can even cost “a life” in fast-paced games. If the connection is poor, commands aren’t sent quickly enough, leading to game over. To promote the services of Frontier Communications, a U.S. internet and fiber optic provider, Zombie Studio releases a film that plays with this situation in a game.
The film created by McCann NY shows a battle between a knight and a seemingly invincible dragon inside a gaming environment and the impacts of not having a good internet service. In various humorous scenarios, the knight tries to deliver his strikes, but before he can send the commands, the dragon has already attacked.
Paulo Garcia, co-founder and creative director of Zombie Studio said:
"The fantasy world was entirely created in computer graphics (CG), and we filmed the live action at the end. With these techniques, we brought humor and lightness to an annoying subject—when the internet simply doesn’t work. The idea is to show the impacts of not having a good internet service, using gaming as an example in this case."
