Croatian Institute of Public Health (CIPH) is a health facility which conducts expert and scientific-research health-related activities within the scope of rights and duties of the Republic of Croatia, in the field of public health. The organisation was established in 1923. Main Activities: • CIPH carries out activities of epidemiology of quarantine and other infectious diseases, as well as chronic mass noninfectious diseases, public health, health education including health promotion and disease prevention, microbiology, environmental health, school medicine, mental health care and addiction prevention. • CIPH performs the health activity in collaboration with international bodies, networks and organizations. • CIPH performs the health activity at the level of health institutes. • CIPH conducts science research activity in the area of biomedical sciences and teaching activity in the area of professional training of health professionals
