Azza Ouertani Appointed Human Resources Director of Ogilvy Paris
Mar. 06, 2025
Ogilvy Paris announces the appointment of Azza Ouertani as Human Resources Director. Having served as HR Managing Partner since December 2022, she now takes over the leadership of the agency’s human resources department and joins the Executive Committee.
A graduate of EMLyon Business School in Management and Entrepreneurship, with over 15 years of experience, Azza Ouertani has built a rich professional career combining strategy, finance, and entrepreneurship. She began her career at BNP Paribas, where she developed strong expertise in corporate finance and risk management for major international clients. She later held the position of General Manager in the real estate and retail sectors, allowing her to gain a comprehensive understanding of organizational dynamics, from financial management to operational leadership.
Building on these experiences, Azza transitioned into strategic HR roles, notably as Chief People Officer in fast-growing startups and scale-ups. She has demonstrated her ability to align HR policies with business objectives while placing people at the heart of transformations.
Azza has a deep passion for visual arts, a sensibility she has nurtured since her studies in Fine Arts and Art Sciences at the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne. This dual background, blending analytical rigor with artistic creativity, enriches her approach and vision for human resources in our industry.
At Ogilvy Paris, Azza’s mission will be to enhance the agency’s attractiveness, support talent development, and define innovative HR strategies that align with the evolving needs of the industry.
Mathieu Plassard and Matthieu Elkaim, Presidents of Ogilvy Paris said:
"The appointment of Azza Ouertani marks an important milestone for Ogilvy Paris. Her dual expertise in HR and finance, combined with her creative sensibility, are key assets in supporting the agency’s growth and addressing the HR challenges of an ever-evolving industry."
Azza Ouertani added:
"I am honored to continue this journey at Ogilvy Paris, an agency that embodies creative excellence and innovation. My ambition is to keep transforming HR practices by fully integrating business challenges while fostering an inclusive and stimulating environment where every talent can thrive."
