Ogilvy Consulting Paris Appoints Lorya Roblin Partner

Oct. 14, 2024

Ogilvy Paris announces the appointment of Lorya Roblin as Partner at Ogilvy Consulting Paris. She will work closely with Benoit de Fleurian, Head of Ogilvy Consulting Paris.

At advertising agencies such as JWT, We Are Social and M&C Saatchi World Services, she has worked on a variety of strategic communications issues for commercial clients such as Unilever, Kellogg's, LEGO, HSBC, governments, multilateral organizations and NGOs.

Lorya's career in strategic planning took a turning point when she joined the former Nike foundation, Girl Effect, in London to pilot innovative Social and Behavioral Change communication programs for developing countries. As senior strategist and then program director, she designed innovative entertainment programs (e.g. series of musical narrative clips, radio soap opera, youth brand, chatbot) to change gender norms from Malawi to Nigeria, Indonesia and the Philippines.

In Cambodia, one of Asia's most authoritarian countries, she co-directed an innovative pro bono election campaign in 2013, entirely on Facebook, enabling the emergence of the country's largest national youth movement. This campaign was doubly rewarded by WARC, but above all it enabled the opposition party to win 45% of the seats in the National Assembly, a first in Cambodian history, shaking the dictatorship that has been in power for 35 years.

Lorya Roblin said:

"I'm delighted to be joining Ogilvy Consulting Paris to put my expertise at the service of such a talented and committed team. I strongly believe in the power of communication to permeate our cultures and transform the way we think, feel and act."

Benoit de Fleurian added:

"There's been a real before and after since Lorya joined us. She brought with her the ability to develop behavior change strategies on very complex issues; to bring innovation to all stages of a social and behavioral change (SBC) project, from formative research to the development of creative solutions; and then she also brought a nice address book, with experts all over the world, able to bring in-depth insights to the issues we face. I'm convinced that we're going to do great things together, and in fact, we've already started."
