Russian nursing home turned into Father Frost’s residence. On New Year Eve one Russian nursing home was turned into Father Frost’s residence. (In Russia, Santa Claus is known as Father Frost)
This project was organized by MEGA shopping mall (IKEA Centres Russia).
The house was decorated by garlands and the way to it shined with red lights, whilst house’s residents were dressed in red caps and coats.
Children were told that this place is home for retired Fathers Frost. They rest here, read children’s letters and prepare gifts for them. According to the legend, women in the house are wives of Fathers Frost who usually work hard but stay in the background of their husbands.
The family shopping center MEGA arranged this project and prepared gifts both for young guests and for residents of the nursing home.
The organizers believe that many companies and brands will follow their lead and turn many nursing homes into Residences of Farther Frost.
